More information
I have been working as an IT services provider for 30 years, as a delivery manager or expert consultant. My values are loyalty, efficiency and commitment towards my clients. That means listening, transparency and know-how.
Corporate culture and return on investment are in my DNA and drive my recommendations and actions. I thrive on ROI-driven projects, in rich multidisciplinary environments that require setting up the human and technical resources needed to meet the goals of my assignments.
I keep my projects on track by putting operational teams under control, with clear communication focused on EBITDA towards the owners identified in a RACI, trade-offs between cost, time and quality of deliverables, risk management, ROI-driven steering and execution of the action plan agreed with all accountable bodies.
I work in a Lean way to react faster to changing needs. I have been using Kanban since 1993, as well as Scrum. I also work on fixed-price contracts against detailed specifications.
I use AI to optimise the project lifecycle: scoping, development, documentation, QA and delivery. Team processes are framed by ticketing, documentation and code repository tools, and a DevOps CI/CD pipeline covering unit tests, regression tests, security tests and performance tests, with tools such as GitLab, Postman and Swagger, Jira, Confluence, Selenium, Jest, Qualys, k6 and ZenCoder. These are all quantifiable indicators that can be written into a service agreement.
My business expertise centres on e-Commerce and audience monetisation: online sales, subscriptions, in-app engagement, web and mobile advertising campaigns, and customer value optimisation.
I apply my technical skills, focused on performance, personalisation and data, to improve customer knowledge and to optimise, in a virtuous circle, audience exposure, engagement and conversion.
Technical performance, SEO-driven exposure, analysis of customer satisfaction data, a solid grounding in product marketing, and analysis of user behaviour on landing pages, through the conversion funnel and in payment systems all build customer knowledge, retention and customer value optimisation across the whole lifecycle.
I grow the service's exposure by optimising SEM – SEO + SEA. SEM matters as much as web performance. Campaigns and landing page content are personalised.
I drive visitor engagement through reassurance: personalised user experience, a clear, unique offer consistent with the exposure levers, audience segmentation, distinct treatment of the long tail and the head, and a simple call-to-action. I use A/B testing to fine-tune the optimisation.
I optimise conversion by offering the secure payment method best suited to the visitor's device, and by sharing order status with the customer instantly.
I use data analytics tools to measure EBITDA and monitor service levels (SLA). Among others, I use GTM and GA4 to capture audience data and visitor interactions, identify trends and customer segments, calculate customer lifetime value and run cohort analyses, bring EBITDA indicators together in a management dashboard, raise alerts when user behaviour changes, assess the effectiveness of the resources deployed and plan the next steps with an ROI-driven approach.
This know-how allows me to offer my clients a dedicated, stable solution with a guaranteed service level, at the right price: targeted prospecting, personalised exposure, easier engagement, optimal conversion, user satisfaction tracking and long-term customer value optimisation, all integrated into their IT ecosystem.
I acquired and practised distributed, resilient and secure architecture on assignments at high-traffic internet pure players such as AOL and Yahoo!, and working with Google and Amazon, including cloud computing and the integration of third-party services via API: ERP, CRM, 3PL, DAM, PIM, analytics, reporting, search…
My resilient, distributed solutions – web, and APIs for mobile apps – guarantee speed and availability under heavy traffic of more than 100 million visitors. Scalability, an SLA on the service delivered above 99.99%, modern performance-oriented frameworks such as Next.js and the use of CDNs make it possible to deliver a tailored, fast and stable architecture at the right price, with a minimal carbon footprint, integrated into the client's ecosystem.
I use Akamai to secure online services against attacks. Protections: DDoS, WAF, malicious bots, customer data theft, content scraping, API reverse engineering: traffic is filtered before it reaches the infrastructure. Security is monitored continuously to respond to emerging attacks without slowing down response times for legitimate visitors.
In addition, I use Qualys for code security scanning and TLS certificate validation, and Tenable for PCI-DSS compliance certification of e-commerce sites.
